Achieving leadership and excellence in the fields of education, knowledge production and dissemination, community service, and access to an advanced position among the faculties of arts in Iraqi and Arab universities.

Taking care of providing advanced programs in the various disciplines of the College of Humanities according to scientific standards with the aim of qualifying qualified graduates who contribute to the development of society scientifically, cognitively, economically and socially, adhering to spiritual, ethical and professional values, supporting human rights, preserving the Arabic language and heritage, optimizing the use of technology as possible and striving towards producing research that contributes to serving Society, providing technical advice to raise the level of performance of community institutions and their competencies in the disciplines of foreign languages, sociology, translation, libraries and information, and broadcasting this message in the media through the cadres who graduate from the Department of Media.

Objectives :

Attracting scientifically and educationally qualified cadres in the various specializations of the college in accordance with the specifications and quality standards
Promoting scientific research in the humanities included in the departments of the college to meet the requirements of the labor market, as well as supporting research with future and applied visions
Continuous development of curricula at the level of primary and postgraduate studies in accordance with the developments and innovations of knowledge, methodology and contemporary technology
