Achieving leadership and excellence in the fields of education, developing skills in the field of humanitarian disciplines, aspiring to open up to society to spread philosophical knowledge and keep pace with the movement of contemporary philosophical cultural enlightenment and its applied outputs in the era of artificial intelligence to reach advanced positions among philosophy departments in Iraqi and Arab universities.

Mission:

Interest in providing advanced programs in the various disciplines of the College of Humanities according to scientific standards, with the aim of qualifying competent graduates who contribute to the development of society scientifically, cognitively, economically and socially, and commitment to spiritual, moral and professional values, supporting human rights and preserving the Arab and Islamic philosophical heritage, seeking to produce research that contributes to serving society and man, and providing technical advice to raise the level and efficiency of the performance of community institutions in humanitarian disciplines and achieve the goals of sustainable development.

Objectives:

1- Preparing specialized graduates in the fields of philosophy.

2- Equipping students with thinking skills in philosophical analysis and criticism and human development.

3- Promoting scientific research in the philosophical sciences, encouraging research related to community programs, and supporting studies with practical and applied visions expressing the prospects of enlightenment and sustainable development.

4- Promoting religious, moral, national and educational values, and keeping pace with the development of human sciences in the era of artificial intelligence.

5- Developing the spirit of cooperation, sense of responsibility and awareness among students, spreading the culture of tolerance and building social peace.

6- Participating in community service through direct interaction with institutions, providing scientific consultations and promoting continuing education programs.
