Vision:
The Department of Sociology is an important academic department that aims to study human societies and analyze the behavior of individuals and groups within them. This department focuses on understanding social structures and the interrelationships between individuals and institutions, in addition to studying various social issues such as class, culture, social change, sustainable development, and women’s and children’s issues. Sociology uses diverse research methods and artificial intelligence in scientific research, including quantitative and qualitative studies, to collect and analyze data that helps explain social phenomena.
Mission:
The Department of Sociology is the cornerstone for understanding social interactions and societal phenomena. The department’s mission is to build a solid knowledge base that enables students to analyze social reality objectively and in-depth, and to comprehend the changes affecting the structure of society and the behavior of its members. The department also seeks to develop scientific research skills that help provide scientific solutions to various social problems.
