College of Dentistry discussed M.Sc. Thesis entitled ” The Effect of Adding Titanium Oxide Nanoparticles to Poly Methyl Methacrylate Denture Base Material ” on 16 November 2022 forwarded by Dalya Mahmood Noaman. The study evaluated the effect of adding titanium oxide nanoparticles to Poly Methyl Methacrylate Denture Base Material with different concentrations on mechanical and physical characteristics, including transverse strength, thermal conductivity, compressive strength, indentation hardness, surface roughness and color change of heat cured denture base resin. It was proved by the study that adding titanium oxide nanoparticle to poly methyl methacrylate denture base material had acceptable effect on the produced nano composite’s color in addition to improving transverse strength, thermal conductivity, compressive strength and indentation hardnessmof the produced nano composite .
