Field Visit and Community Service Provided by the College of Dentistry to Al-Baqee’ Primary School for Girls

A group of faculty members from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the College of Dentistry conducted a second visit to Al-Baqee’ Primary School for Girls on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. This visit followed a previous one and aimed to monitor the students’ oral health conditions and assess the progress in oral hygiene awareness resulting from the initial visit.

During the visit, a health awareness lecture was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Fahad Maizer Al-Dabbagh, followed by the application of fluoride treatment to the students’ teeth. In addition, symbolic gifts were distributed, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, and educational pamphlets.

The school administration expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the College of Dentistry for this important initiative in promoting the health and well-being of the students. In return, the College of Dentistry extended its thanks to the school administration for their warm reception and fruitful cooperation.
