Deans’ Committee Meeting of Dental Colleges in Iraq
Assistant Professor Dr. Ne’am Riyadh Saleem, Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul, participated in the Deans’ Committee meeting of dental colleges in Iraq, held on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
The meeting addressed several key topics, including the evaluation of the national competency exam results, curriculum updates and development strategies, and the summer attendance program for fourth- and fifth-year students.
Additionally, a proposal was made to form a specialized committee for developing the Conservative Dentistry curriculum, following the decision by the Iraqi Ministry of Health to phase out the use of dental amalgam.
