College of Dentistry discussed M.Sc. thesis entitled ‘‘Elemental Analysis and Adaptation of Three Bio ceramic Sealers in Different Setting Conditions”, on Sunday, August 3, 2025. The study investigated the chemical composition and interfacial adaptation of three bio-ceramic-based root canal sealers (One-Fil, DiaRoot, and NeoSealer Flo sealers) under both standard and infected conditions. The study utilized Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) to conduct the analytical assessments. It was concluded by the research the importance of utilizing bio-ceramic materials in endodontic therapy, given their bioactive components, which enhance biological performance and promote chemical interaction with the surrounding root canal environment.
