Sustainable Follow-Ups in Digital Formats…

The College of Dentistry Completes Its Development Project for the Waiting Area in the Educational Clinics Building with the Latest Digital Technologies

As part of its strategic vision to enhance the quality of medical and academic services, the College of Dentistry has completed a significant phase of its ambitious development project for the educational clinics, aimed at establishing standards of excellence in both the educational and therapeutic environment.

The development project included renovating the main glass entrance of the educational clinics with a modern design that reflects the advanced institutional identity of the College, as well as furnishing the waiting areas with state-of-the-art seating designed to the highest standards to ensure the comfort and dignity of esteemed visitors.

In a qualitative step aligned with contemporary technological advancements, the College has finalized the implementation of the “Integrated Digital Queue System,” an advanced electronic system that relies on smart interactive screens to efficiently organize the patient’s treatment journey. The system guides patients to their scheduled initial diagnostic appointments and then automatically directs them to the specialized departments most suited to their medical cases.

This innovative digital system represents a civilizational leap in medical operations management, as it is based on comprehensive automation that ensures smooth workflow and reduces waiting times, thereby enhancing patient satisfaction and improving institutional performance efficiency.

The Dean of the College affirmed that these development initiatives reflect the College’s steadfast commitment to providing distinguished medical services and an advanced educational environment that contributes to preparing qualified medical professionals who meet the highest global standards. She noted that this project serves as a model for the application of artificial intelligence and digital transformation technologies in the educational medical sector.

Through this achievement, the College of Dentistry advances key objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
