College of Dentistry

In line with the directives of the esteemed President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, regarding the revision, organization, and unification of the minutes of the College Council and all departmental councils, and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assist. Prof. Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, the College of Dentistry / University of Mosul is organizing a workshop during the period of 10–14 September 2025 entitled: Minutes of the College Council, Departmental Councils, and the Scientific Committee.

The workshop aims to enhance skills and provide participants with knowledge on the mechanism of structuring minutes in accordance with the approved regulations and standards, in a manner consistent with the governance of college council proceedings. The departmental council serves as the official forum of the academic department through which major scientific and administrative achievements, proposals, and challenges are presented, reflecting the level of activity and contribution of the department in academic, administrative, and community service fields.

The workshop will be attended by the rapporteurs of the academic departments, as well as the heads and rapporteurs of the scientific committees in the college. Participants affirm the significance of this workshop in improving administrative and academic performance and in strengthening the role of the college in advancing institutional work mechanisms.
