The Council of the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul Holds Its Second Session
Chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, and attended by the Associate Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs along with the Heads of the Scientific Departments, the second meeting of the Council of the College of Dentistry for the academic year 2025–2026 was convened on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
The session, distinguished by an atmosphere of cooperation and responsibility, addressed a number of significant topics aimed at supporting the educational and research trajectory of the College. The Council discussed several issues, most notably:
Ratification of the awarding of Master’s and Doctoral degrees.
Review presented by the Head of the Postgraduate Studies Unit regarding academic credits.
Assigning several faculty members to teaching duties and supervising postgraduate students.
Discussion of the annual plan for university psychological counseling.
Planning of field visits and voluntary activities for the academic year 2025–2026.
The Council also reviewed additional items on the agenda, reaffirming its commitment to keeping pace with academic developments and making decisions that serve the interests of both the educational process and students.
