A Scientific Lecture on Early Detection of Cervical Cancer at the College of Dentistry

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Presidency of the University, and in implementation of the Third National Plan for Women, Peace, and Security, the Women’s Affairs Committee at the College of Dentistry organized a scientific lecture entitled “Early Detection of Cervical Cancer” on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
The event was held in collaboration with the College of Medicine/Nineveh and the College of Medicine/Mosul, and attended by Assist. Prof. Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, Dean of the College of Dentistry.
The lecture was delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Dukaa Abbas Al-Jawadi, who highlighted the importance of early detection in the prevention of cervical cancer and in promoting health awareness among women.
This activity comes as part of a series of scientific and awareness-raising events implemented by the University to support women’s health programs, enhance their social empowerment, and promote a culture of early screening and disease prevention.
