Under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, Dean of the College of Dentistry, and the guidance and follow-up of Assist. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Subhi Al-Qassar, the fifth-stage student Hazem Mahmoud Hazem from the College of Dentistry – University of Mosul, earned third place at the national level in the Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Exhibition and Conference (AIIEC 2025), held in Kirkuk Governorate under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

This achievement was made through his distinguished project “Clinic valley”, an intelligent application for managing dental clinics and medical centers utilizing artificial intelligence technologies. The project aims to create an integrated digital experience for both doctors and patients that aligns with the demands of the digital age and contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), using the simplest available resources.

The application is designed to enhance physician efficiency and improve the patient experience through a comprehensive digital clinical environment, reflecting the awareness of the College of Dentistry students about the importance of adopting technology and AI in advancing medical disciplines, and embodying the spirit of creativity and innovation that characterizes our college.

The project contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (3, 4, 7, 9, and 12) by promoting good health and well-being, supporting quality education, encouraging the use of affordable and clean energy, fostering industrial innovation and smart infrastructure, and promoting responsible consumption and production, in alignment with the vision of higher education towards sustainable progress and development.

This accomplishment stands as clear evidence of the creative potential and academic excellence of our students, reaffirming that the generation of the College of Dentistry – University of Mosul continues to advance confidently toward scientific distinction and intellectual innovation, proudly representing their university and homeland in academic forums.
