Participation of the College of Dentistry in the Talented Students Program Activities

The College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul, represented by the Technological Incubator and Ecosystem Division and the Rehabilitation and Employment Division, participated along with a group of talented students in the launching ceremony of the Talented Students Program. The event was organized by the Department of Science and Technology Parks under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahemi, President of the University of Mosul, and supervised by Professor Dr. Abdulrahem Ibrahim Jasim, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs.
During the event, Sara Qusay, a third-year student, presented her innovative project titled “The Smart Toothbrush,” which embodies a creative idea aimed at promoting oral and dental health through modern technology.
In recognition of her outstanding work and innovative efforts, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, Dean of the College of Dentistry, honored the student for her distinguished participation and creativity. She also commended the college students’ initiatives in developing ideas and projects that contribute to community service and sustainable development.
Through this project, the College of Dentistry seeks to contribute to achieving several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:

Goal 4: Quality Education
Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
