Lecture on the Fundamentals and Applications of the Electron Microscope in Dental Research
Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul, the Scientific Affairs Unit organized a scientific lecture on Sunday, 2 November 2025, entitled:
“Fundamentals and Applications of the Electron Microscope in Dental Research.”
The lecture was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Nour Al-Din Mahmood, who discussed the latest concepts and techniques related to the use of the electron microscope in clinical and laboratory studies. He highlighted its role in analyzing the intricate microscopic structures of teeth and the surrounding tissues.
The event was attended by a number of the college’s faculty and staff, as part of the College of Dentistry’s ongoing efforts to enhance scientific research and develop researchers’ skills in utilizing modern technologies.
