Conduct of the Mid-year Practical Examination for the Orthodontics Course for Fourth-Year Students

The mid-year practical examination for the Orthodontics course for fourth-year students at the College of Dentistry was conducted today, Sunday, 14 December 2025. The examination will continue for a full week in the Orthodontics Laboratory, within an atmosphere distinguished by high scientific standards and effective organization.
The examination was directly supervised and closely monitored by the teaching staff responsible for the course, who ensured the proper organization of the examination process, the application of approved scientific regulations, and the accurate and objective assessment of student’s practical performance, in line with the academic standards adopted by the College.
For their part, fourth-year students demonstrated a high level of commitment and clear discipline during the examination, reflecting their seriousness, academic preparedness, and ability to apply practical skills and orthodontic procedures correctly, in a manner that embodies the intended learning outcomes of laboratory-based practical training.
This examination comes within the framework of the College of Dentistry’s commitment to strengthening the practical component of its curricula and enhancing students’ scientific and practical competencies, thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified medical personnel capable of delivering orthodontic services in accordance with rigorous professional standards.
