The Department of Basic Dental Sciences Participates in the “Mercy Planting Initiative” at the University of Mosul
The Department of Basic Dental Sciences at the College of Dentistry participated in the “Mercy Planting Initiative” launched by the Presidency of the University of Mosul. As part of the initiative, the department planted saplings in the college’s gardens during a campaign organized on Thursday, 18/12/2025, aiming to expand green spaces and enhance the university environment.
The campaign was overseen by the Agricultural Division within the Office Affairs Department, under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, and the Head of the Department of Basic Dental Sciences, Professor Dr. Ghada Abdul Rahman Taqa, along with a number of faculty members, in coordination with the Voluntary Work Unit.
This initiative emphasizes the importance of collective work and community participation in promoting a green university environment, reflecting the commitment of our students and faculty to keeping the University of Mosul and the city of Mosul green and pristine.
