Launch of the “Bridge of Mercy” Volunteer Project with the Participation of the College of Dentistry
Under the patronage and presence of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, Dean of the College of Dentistry, the activities of the “Bridge of Mercy” volunteer project, launched by the Presidency of the University of Mosul, commenced today, Saturday, December 20, 2025, with active participation from the College of Dentistry.
The College participated through the mobile clinic, where medical cases were examined and necessary treatment services were provided, alongside the implementation of awareness and educational programs on oral and dental health, contributing to the enhancement of public health awareness and serving the community.
The activities were attended by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, with the participation of the Scientific and Administrative Assistants, in addition to the teaching and administrative staff and students of the College, reflecting a practical embodiment of the values of social solidarity and volunteer work, and strengthening the University’s role in serving the local community.
This participation reaffirms the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul’s commitment to supporting humanitarian and community initiatives and consolidates the University’s mission of combining academic excellence with social responsibility.
