“Combating Intellectual Terrorism.”

The lecture reviewed the most prominent forms and methods of intellectual terrorism, as well as the motives behind its spread, while highlighting the role of educational and cultural institutions in confronting it through the promotion of dialogue, critical thinking, and acceptance of others. It also emphasized the importance of strengthening community awareness, particularly among young people, as they represent the first line of defense against extremist ideas, and stressed the need to work toward building a cohesive society based on moderation and respect for intellectual diversity.
The lecture was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, in addition to a number of faculty members, staff, and first-year students.
