Literary Participation by a Student from the College of Dentistry at the World Arabic Language Day Celebration

 

Student Sidra Nashwan Ghazi from the College of Dentistry participated in the World Arabic Language Day celebration, organized by the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts / University of Mosul, in the presence of a number of professors, faculty members, and students.
During the celebration, the student recited a classical vertical poem of her own composition, written in the Al-Madeed poetic meter, through which she expressed the status of the Arabic language and its civilizational and cultural value. Her recitation received wide interaction and admiration from the audience.
This participation came with the support and follow-up of the Cultural Action Unit within the Student Activities Division at the College of Dentistry, as part of the college’s commitment to encouraging students toward creativity and active participation in cultural and scientific events, and to enhancing their presence in university occasions.
At the conclusion of the celebration, the student was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Head of the Department of Arabic Language, Professor Dr. Ahmed Salih Al-Muwla, in recognition of her literary participation and cultural contribution to this academic occasion. She was also honored by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, in appreciation of her distinguished representation of the college and her outstanding cultural presence.
