In embodiment of the role of academic institutions in building and empowering individuals, the College of Dentistry participated in the awareness-raising event organized by the Psychological Counseling Division at the University of Mosul on the occasion of the International Day for the Prevention of Violent Extremism. The event was hosted at Dr. Farouq Al-Omari Hall, College of Science, on Thursday, 12 February.
The College’s participation was represented by the attendance of the Head of the University Psychological Counseling Unit and the presentation of a distinguished awareness output, which included educational posters and guidance materials focusing on the promotion of the principles of moderation and tolerance, and emphasizing the importance of rejecting extremism in all its forms to ensure a safe and stable university and societal environment.
This participation comes as part of a series of activities adopted by the College to support community peace and to safeguard youth by fostering constructive ideas that serve our beloved country.
