The College of Dentistry participated in the preparatory meeting for organizing the activities of the “Iraqi Oral Health Week,” which is held in cooperation with the Nineveh Health Directorate, as well as relevant universities and institutions.
The College was represented at the meeting by Assistant Professor Dr. Aliaa Ismail Nasser, Head of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division. The meeting discussed mechanisms for joint coordination and the development of an integrated action plan, including the implementation of awareness lectures, free dental screening campaigns, and educational activities targeting various segments of society.
In this context, the College affirmed its commitment to supporting these health initiatives and contributing effectively to the success of the events, in a manner that reinforces its academic and societal role in promoting a culture of prevention and enhancing the level of health awareness in Nineveh Governorate.
