Faculty of Dentistry Conducts Voluntary Field Visit to the Elderly Home as Part of the “Rahma Wasila” Initiative

Within the framework of the “Rahma Wasila” initiative, launched by the University of Mosul in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being; Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities; Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and under the direct patronage and supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, the Human Rights Unit, Volunteer Work Unit, and Scientific Affairs Unit of the Faculty carried out a field visit to the elderly home.
The visit, which involved students and faculty members from the Department of Dental Technology, included the provision of therapeutic services to the residents of the home, continuing a series of previous visits aimed at enhancing healthcare and humanitarian support for this important segment of society.
This initiative took place on Wednesday and Thursday, 11–12 March 2026, reaffirming the Faculty of Dentistry’s commitment to its societal and humanitarian role, its efforts to instill a culture of volunteerism, and its dedication to promoting values of solidarity and compassion, in alignment with the University’s mission to serve the community and achieve sustainable development.
