Two Fifth-Year Students Excel in the Chess Championship at the University of Mosul

 

As part of the activities organized by the Student Activities Department at the University of Mosul, the College of Dentistry achieved a distinguished presence in the Chess Championship hosted by the College of Education for Pure Sciences, with the participation of (36) female students representing various colleges of the University.

The competition concluded with notable success for two fifth-year students: student Saba Faisal secured second place, while student Enas Rakan achieved a joint third place. This accomplishment reflects the outstanding caliber of the College’s students and their ability to excel across both academic and extracurricular domains.

The championship was marked by excellent organization and warm hospitality by the hosting college, which significantly contributed to the success of the event and its presentation in a commendable manner.

It is worth noting that the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, honored the two students in recognition of this distinguished achievement, reaffirming the College’s continuous support for student activities and its encouragement of student participation across diverse fields.

On this occasion, the Deanship of the College of Dentistry extends its warmest congratulations to the winning students, wishing them continued success and excellence.
