Visit of the Central Committee for Laboratory Quality to the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul

As part of the University of Mosul’s continuous efforts to enhance quality standards and academic accreditation, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department (Central Committee for Laboratory Quality) conducted a field visit to the College of Dentistry to review the status of the educational and clinical laboratories and to assess the extent of compliance with the approved Iraqi standards.
The committee was received by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, who welcomed the visiting delegation and affirmed the Deanship’s full support for efforts aimed at developing laboratories and teaching clinics, as well as advancing the level of academic and professional performance.
The visit included a comprehensive tour of the College’s facilities, laboratories, and clinics, during which the infrastructure and technical equipment were evaluated. Occupational safety procedures, sterilization protocols, and infection control mechanisms were also reviewed, in addition to auditing the records and approved forms used in the management of laboratories and clinics.
At the conclusion of the visit, the committee commended the efforts made in organizing and managing the scientific and medical facilities and presented a number of recommendations intended to further develop laboratory and clinical operations in line with the requirements of quality standards and comprehensive academic accreditation.
