The College Council of the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul held its first meeting for the academic year 2026–2027 on Tuesday, 1 September 2026. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, and the Heads of the Scientific Branches.

The Council discussed the following topics:

– Appointing a second supervisor for a PhD dissertation.
– Exempting two faculty members holding the academic title of Assistant Lecturer from teaching theoretical lectures related to their areas of specialization.
– Assigning coordinators responsible for the academic stages.
– Approving the annual committees.
– Discussing preparations for the new academic year.
– Official correspondence and administrative letters.
– Various other matters.
