College of Dentistry

As part of the community service activities conducted by the Department of Basic Dental Sciences, the department’s staff carried out a field visit to Batnaya Secondary School for Boys.
The aim of this visit was to raise health awareness among students and promote preventive medical culture within the school environment. The event included a series of educational lectures covering important topics such as general hygiene, oral and dental health, and proper nutrition, in addition to guidance on preventing common diseases among students.

The medical team also conducted a series of preliminary health check-ups for the students, focusing on the evaluation of oral and dental health, along with some general vital signs. Appropriate medical recommendations were provided for cases requiring further follow-up.

The visit successfully achieved its objectives and was met with gratitude and appreciation from the school administration, which showed great cooperation with the staff in carrying out their duties.
