Oral viva of master thesis at the Department of Conservative Dentistry/ College of Dentistry

College of Dentistry discussed M.Sc. thesis entitled ‘‘A comparative Evaluation of Working Length Determination with Different Techniques in Straight and Curved Canals”, on Monday, August 4, 2025. Forwarded by Afnan Ismail Mohammed. The study investigated the accuracy of various methods for determining the working length in both straight and curved root canals. It was concluded by the study that electronic apex locators (Root ZX Mini and Raypex6), digital radiography, cone- beam computed tomography (CBCT), and micro-computed tomography (μ-CT) were accurate in determining working length in both types of canals.
The examination committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nawal Atiya Khalaf / College of Dentistry / University of Mosul, with membership of Assist. Prof. Dr. Alaa Edrees Dawood / College of Dentistry/ University of Mosul, Assist. Prof. Fanar Turky Abdulhameed, and under the supervision and membership of Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Muayad Rasheed / College of Dentistry/ University of Mosul
