College of Dentistry discussed M.Sc. thesis entitled ‘‘Preparation and Assessment of a Universal Adhesive Modified by Incorporating Chitosan Capped Cerium Oxide Nanoparticles”, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Forwarded by Marwa Ahmed Jassim. The study investigated on evaluating and comparing the viability, proliferation, and differentiation of human fibroblast and osteoblast cell lines using different types of root canal sealers. It was concluded by the research aimed to employ bioceramic-based sealers to reduce cytotoxicity, enhance the viability and proliferation of human periodontal ligament fibroblasts, and increase gene expression in human osteoblasts
