College of Dentistry discussed PhD. thesis entitled ‘‘Preparation and Assessment of a Universal Adhesive Modified by Incorporating Chitosan Capped Cerium Oxide Nanoparticles”, on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Forwarded by Hisham Ibrahem Wali Ali. The study investigated to prepare a colloidal suspension of chitosan-coated cerium oxide nanoparticles, incorporate it into a universal adhesive, and evaluate its effects on the adhesive’s physical, chemical, and biological properties. It was concluded by the research also assessed the antibacterial activity of the modified adhesive, along with its impact on the morphological characteristics of the adhesive interface.
