Construction of a New Iron Emergency Staircase at the Office of the College of Dentistry to Improve Safety
In an important step to enhance safety and security standards within the building of the Dean’s Office – College of Dentistry, University of Mosul, a new iron emergency staircase has been installed, providing students and staff with the possibility of rapid and safe evacuation in cases of emergencies and disasters.
This staircase aims to provide a safe and effective means of evacuation, in accordance with occupational safety standards and with the objective of protecting lives and property.
Safety Instructions in Cases of Disasters:
1. Upon hearing the emergency alarm, please proceed immediately towards the emergency staircase.
2. Follow the instructions of the security staff.
3. Maintain calm and avoid crowding to ensure a safe and rapid evacuation for everyone.
4. Assist in evacuating persons with special needs first.
This procedure is part of the College’s continuous efforts to promote a culture of safety and preventive awareness among all its affiliates.
