The study investigated on the effectiveness of (Botulinum Toxin Type A) on cutaneous burn scars, by assessing its efficacy in improving wound healing, modulating the inflammatory response, and enhancing angiogenesis in a rabbit model. The study aimed at identifying the role of Botox in reducing burn-induced scarring, as well as the most effective post-burn injection intervals. It was concluded by the study that Botulinum Toxin Type A contributed to improve re-epithelialization and granulation tissue formation, reduced inflammatory cell infiltration, and had a positive effect on the proteins (MMP-9) and (CD31), which are associated with extracellular matrix remodeling and angiogenesis.
