Faces That Remain in Memory… The Media Division at the College of Dentistry Remembers Its Departed Members

In the memory of the College of Dentistry – University of Mosul, there are faces that never fade, voices that cannot be forgotten, and smiles that remain vivid despite the passing years. They are the faces of colleagues who have departed this life, yet left behind an indelible mark and a legacy remembered by all who lived and worked alongside them.

Today, the Dean’s Office of the College of Dentistry reaffirms that it will never forget its faculty members and staff who have passed away. They were more than colleagues; they were a family, each leaving a unique impact and a story worth telling.

Among them shines the name of Mr. Jaber Tawfiq, who came from Egypt in 1981 to join the College’s family. He began his service in the dormitory department, later moved to the Dental Laboratory, and eventually settled in the Reception and Records Unit. The late Mr. Jaber was known for his honesty, dedication, and meticulousness in carrying out his duties, becoming a role model among his peers.

Mr. Jaber was not merely an employee; he was a heart full of kindness and a cheerful spirit that brought warmth to the workplace. His Egyptian humor, popular proverbs, and sincere greetings were small yet memorable details that shaped an unforgettable personality.

In 2021, Mr. Jaber passed away due to complications from the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving behind his wife, sons, and daughters, as well as a lasting legacy of fond memories in the hearts of the College’s professors, students, and staff.

As the College of Dentistry commemorates him today, it also remembers all its departed members, affirming that loyalty endures, that the legacy of good deeds never fades, and that those who have left us remain alive in memory and in the hearts of those who loved them, no matter how many years pass.

May God have mercy upon the departed, forgive them, and grant them eternal peace in His vast gardens.
