The Department of Basic Dental Sciences at the College of Dentistry Holds a Training Course on Artificial Intelligence: The Technology of the Era

Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Salim, Dean of the College of Dentistry, and Professor Dr. Ghada Abdul Rahman Taqa, Head of the Department of Basic Dental Sciences, the department organized a training course as part of the Continuing Education Unit’s activities entitled:
“Artificial Intelligence: The Technology of the Era.”
The course lasted for five days, from October 5 to 9, 2025.

The course aimed to introduce participants to modern concepts and techniques of artificial intelligence, such as machine learning, data analysis, and natural language processing, in addition to reviewing practical applications of AI in various fields.

During the course, the lecturers focused on developing participants’ skills in data analysis, building intelligent models, and understanding the ethics of AI use in education and scientific research.

This course comes as part of a series of scientific and training activities held by the College of Dentistry, aimed at enhancing the digital literacy of its faculty and students and keeping pace with the rapid technological advancements in information technology and artificial intelligence.
