A Discussion Seminar on Tooth Extraction Complications
As part of the activities organized by the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the College of Dentistry/ University of Mosul, a discussion seminar entitled “Complications of Tooth Extraction” was held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
The seminar was presented by Lecturer Dr. Sufyan Hamadi Ahmed, who provided a detailed explanation of the most common problems and complications that may occur during or after tooth extraction procedures. He also reviewed a number of clinical cases and discussed the most effective approa
ches for managing such complications.
The session was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Manar Mudaffar Al-Naama, Head of the Department, and attended by several faculty members from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Dr. Sufyan Hamadi Ahmed responded to the attendees’ questions and inquiries related to the topic.
