A Specialized Workshop at the College of Dentistry on Entrepreneurship and Students’ Innovative Projects

Under the auspices of the College of Dentistry, University of Mosul, and in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology Parks / Technology Incubator Division, the second day of the specialized scientific workshop titled:
“The Role of the Department of Science and Technology Parks in Promoting Scientific Research and Entrepreneurship in Dentistry”
resumed on Monday, October 13, 2025.

The workshop featured lectures delivered by:

Assist. Prof. Dr. Omar Qusay Jasim – Director of the Department of Science and Technology Parks.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Khansa Abdullah Ahmed – Head of the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Division.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Hind Khudur Ahmed – Head of the Scientific Products Marketing Division.

Lecturer Mustafa Nadim Salim – Head of the Entrepreneurship Division.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Saba Najman Yassin – Liaison Member of the Technology Incubator Division at the College of Dentistry.

The lectures presented on the second day, which targeted students, addressed mechanisms for supporting and transforming research ideas into innovative entrepreneurial projects, as well as ways to benefit from the services of the technology incubator in developing these projects and converting them into marketable scientific products that contribute to community service and foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

It is noteworthy that this workshop is held as part of the continuing education activities at the college and is completely free of charge, reflecting the University of Mosul’s commitment to spreading knowledge, developing skills, and supporting its students, staff, and those interested in scientific research and entrepreneurship.
