College of Dentistry

 

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assist. Prof. Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, the University Guidance Division, in cooperation with the Student Activities Division, the Voluntary Work Unit, and the Human Rights Unit at the College of Dentistry / University of Mosul, organized a voluntary field visit to the Elderly Care Home on Thursday, October 23, 2025, with the participation of a group of students, staff members, and faculty.

This visit comes as part of the humanitarian and community-oriented activities that the college is keen to organize regularly, in order to promote the spirit of social solidarity and to reinforce the values of compassion and giving among its students and affiliates.

The visit included awareness and health lectures for the elderly on oral and dental care in advanced age stages, in addition to providing various food supplies to the care home, with the participation of students and staff, in an atmosphere filled with kindness and respect toward this honorable group.

Dr. Neam Riyadh emphasized that such activities embody the College of Dentistry’s mission in serving the community and instilling humanitarian values in students, commending the spirit of cooperation and initiative shown by the participants in ensuring the success of this humanitarian visit.
