Training Course on the Philosophy of Combating Administrative and Financial Corruption

 

In alignment with the esteemed directives of the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the College of Dentistry organized a specialized training course aimed at enhancing the cognitive and professional competencies of academic and administrative staff in the field of combating administrative and financial corruption. The course was held under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, Dean of the College, with the participation of the Assistant Deans. This initiative falls within the framework of the programs adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The course was conducted over two days, October 28–29, 2025, and was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Abu Bakr Ahmed Othman and Assistant Professor Dr. Alya Ghazi Taher from the College of Law. The sessions focused on the legislative frameworks and regulatory standards governing administrative practices, while also providing space for productive interactive discussions that enriched the participants’ experiences.

The course aspires to achieve essential objectives, notably strengthening awareness of the risks and structural repercussions of corruption on institutions, as well as building administrative systems founded on transparency, integrity, and efficiency. It ultimately seeks to prepare a generation of professionals who are committed to embodying these values in their daily practices, in service of the noble mission of the academic institution and in support of its educational and societal role.
