College of Dentistry

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, and as part of efforts to promote awareness of human rights, the Human Rights Unit at the College, in cooperation with the Human Rights Division at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, distributed an awareness brochure entitled “The Human Right to Education.” The initiative aims to promote a culture of knowledge and emphasize that education is a fundamental right for every individual without discrimination.

The brochure includes information highlighting the importance of education as a human right and the key international legal texts that safeguard this right, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in addition to clarifying the role of the state and society in ensuring the provision of quality education.

This initiative reflects the University of Mosul’s—represented by the College of Dentistry—commitment to supporting the right to education as a fundamental means of achieving sustainable development and building a better future for coming generations.
