Workshop on the Risks of Sexual Harassment and Cyber Extortion and Prevention Measures – College of Dentistry, University of Mosul
Under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University of Mosul, and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University Presidency, and as part of the implementation of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security, the Women’s Affairs Committee at the College of Dentistry organized an awareness workshop, supervised by the respected Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, and in coordination with the Women’s Affairs Committee at the College of Medicine, University of Mosul.
The workshop was held on Monday, 17 November 2025, under the title: “The Risks of Sexual Harassment and Cyber Extortion: Prevention Methods” and was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Safea Adeeb Al-Jalabi from the College of Medicine at the University of Mosul.
The workshop addressed key concepts related to mental health, the dangers of harassment and extortion, and effective prevention strategies, with an emphasis on the importance of community awareness in reducing these phenomena. The event witnessed notable attendance and active engagement from participants.
