A Panel Discussion on the Importance of Bleeding Disorders in Dentistry

As part of the activities of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the College of Dentistry, University of Mosul, a panel discussion entitled “Bleeding Disorder Relevance in Dentistry” was held on Tuesday, 18 November 2025.
The session was presented by Assistant Lecturer Yusra Hameed, and attended by Dr. Sufyan Hummadi Ahmed, the Department Rapporteur, along with a number of the department’s faculty members.
The discussion highlighted the latest scientific research related to bleeding disorders and outlined the most up-to-date methods and techniques for managing such conditions during dental clinical procedures. The event also featured extensive scientific discussions and detailed responses to the inquiries of the attending faculty members, contributing to the enhancement of scientific knowledge and the advancement of clinical practice.
This activity reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to staying abreast of scientific developments and to enhancing the academic and clinical competencies of its faculty in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
