College of Dentistry

The Department of Basic Dental Sciences, in coordination with the Studies and Planning Unit at the College of Dentistry, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, organized a discussion seminar entitled “Hormones Responsible for Teething in Children.”
The seminar was held within the framework of achieving the Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Twelfth Sustainable Development Goals.

The seminar was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Omar Najm, who presented a comprehensive introductory overview of teething in children and its relationship to a number of hormones that regulate growth and development.

The discussion session was chaired by Professor Dr. Ghada Abdulrahman Taqa, Head of the Department of Basic Sciences, and was attended by a number of faculty members from the department.

At the conclusion of the seminar, Dr. Omar addressed the questions and inquiries raised by the attendees regarding the topic under discussion.
