The Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Preventive Dentistry Participates in the “Mercy Planting Initiative” Initiative at the University of Mosul
The Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Preventive Dentistry at the College of Dentistry participated in the “Mercy Planting Initiative” initiative launched by the Presidency of the University of Mosul. As part of this initiative, the department planted seedlings in the gardens of the Student Center within a campaign organized on Tuesday, 16/12/2025, with the aim of expanding green spaces and improving the university environment.
The campaign was supervised by the Agricultural Division of the Department of Diwan Affairs, in cooperation and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, and the Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Preventive Dentistry, Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Subhi Saleh, along with a number of faculty members, and in coordination with the Voluntary Work Unit.
This initiative underscores the importance of collective action and community participation in promoting a green university environment, reflecting the commitment of the students and faculty of our university to ensuring that the University of Mosul and the city of Mosul remain green and pristine.
