College of Dentistry

The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the College of Dentistry participated in the “Mercy Planting Initiative” launched by the Presidency of the University of Mosul. The department planted saplings in the gardens of the educational clinics as part of a campaign organized on Thursday, 18/12/2025, aiming to expand green spaces and enhance the university environment.
The campaign was supervised by the Agricultural Division in the Diwan Affairs Department, in direct collaboration and oversight by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, and the Head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Manar Mudafar Anwar, along with a number of faculty members, and in coordination with the Volunteer Work Unit.
This initiative emphasizes the importance of collective action and community participation in promoting a green university environment, reflecting the commitment of our students and faculty to keeping the University of Mosul and the city of Mosul green and clean.
