Workshop on Automating Research Ethics Committee Transactions Using Artificial Intelligence

 

As part of its efforts to advance digital transformation and enhance administrative performance, the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul organized a workshop entitled “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Processing Research Ethics Committee Transactions,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Salim Mahmoud.

The workshop addressed the mechanisms for employing artificial intelligence technologies in managing and tracking the transactions of the Research Ethics Committee and automating its various procedures, including the issuance of official correspondence, as well as the electronic organization and archiving of data. These measures contribute to expediting transaction processing and improving the efficiency of administrative operations.

Dr. Abdul Sattar Salim reviewed the software program he had developed for this purpose, highlighting its key features and the potential for its further development and wider implementation in the future.

The College Deanship and attendees commended the quality and efficiency of the program, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in supporting digital transformation and advancing institutional performance. They also noted the possibility of extending this experience to other branches of the College and benefiting from it across various administrative and academic domains.
