As part of its continuing education activities, the Basic Dental Sciences Branch at the College of Dentistry, University of Mosul, in collaboration with the College’s Studies and Planning Division and the University Presidency (Studies and Planning Department / Sustainable Development Unit), held a scientific seminar entitled: “Metagenomics Analysis and Whole Genome Sequencing of Infected Root Canal Microbiota.”

The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Eman Abdulaziz in the Microbiology Laboratory, where she discussed the latest genetic techniques for analyzing the microbiota of infected root canals.

This event aligns with the tenth pillar of the National Strategy and seeks to achieve Sustainable Development Goals 3, 4, and 9, thereby promoting rigorous scientific research and keeping pace with recent developments in medical specializations.
