In Embodiment of the Highest Values of Giving, the College of Dentistry Welcomes the Staff and Pupils of Al-Farah Orphan School

In a humanitarian gesture reflecting the spirit of solidarity and community engagement, the staff and pupils of Al-Farah Orphan School visited the College of Dentistry. The visit was organized with the involvement of the Volunteer Work Unit, the Scientific Affairs Unit, the Human Rights Unit, and the Nobles Team.

The Dean of the College met with Mr. Muhanad Younis Sheet Dawood Al-Maadidi, the school principal, who expressed his gratitude to the College for its pioneering initiatives. In turn, the College Deanship expressed its appreciation and recognition of the efforts made by the school administration and teaching staff in caring for these dear children and providing them with an outstanding educational environment.

The visit featured interactive and recreational activities, the presentation of commemorative gifts to the children, and a special lunch for the pupils, which was shared by a number of the College’s faculty members and students. The gathering took place in an atmosphere filled with affection and joy, bringing happiness to the children and making them feel cared for and supported.

This visit reaffirms the humanitarian mission embraced by the College of Dentistry and underscores that the role of academic institutions extends beyond imparting knowledge and providing medical services and practices. It also encompasses serving as a source of support and a haven for the community, addressing humanitarian needs and bringing smiles to the faces of those who deserve them.

Caring for orphans and children and standing by their side is not merely a moral obligation; it is also an investment in a promising future for young hearts that hold the future of this nation. These children are the heroes of tomorrow and the architects of its hopes. Through our support and care, we illuminate their path towards achievement and excellence.
