Discussion of M.Sc. thesis in Conservative Dentistry
On Monday 3/29/2021, the Department of Conservative Dentistry discussed a M.Sc. thesis entitled:
(Evaluation of iron oxide nanoparticles as an irrigation solution for the root canal (laboratory study), by the student Sarra Nabil Mustafa. The discussion was attended by the head of the Department, Dr. Ali Moayad Rasheed and a number of faculty members.
The study aimed to assess the cytotoxicity and antibacterial effect of iron oxide nanoparticles in combination with hydrogen peroxide as a new treatment for endodontic microbes.
The discussion committee was chaired by Dr. Imad Farhan Ali, with a membership of Dr. Abdul Azim Raouf Suleiman and A.M. Qasim Abdul Karim Muhammad, under the supervision and membership of Dr. Ali Moayad Rashid.
