On Monday, 16 February 2026, a master’s thesis entitled: “The Influence of Different Surface Treatments on the Shear Bond Strength and Microleakage of Heat-Cured Resin to 3D- Printed Co-Cr Alloy”, was defended at the Department of Dental Technology, College of Dentistry, University of Mosul. The thesis, submitted by the student Luay Abdullah Khalaf, aimed to evaluate the effect of different surface treatment methods—namely sandblasting, acid etching, application of metal primer, and dual surface treatment—on shear bond strength, microleakage, and surface roughness at the interface between the three-dimensionally printed cobalt–chromium alloy and heat-cured acrylic resin. The results revealed that the dual [Read More]
