Citizens Affairs
Citizens Affairs Unit
Brief Overview of the Unit:
An administrative unit that reports directly to the Dean of the College of Dentistry. It is concerned with citizens affairs and contributes to removing certain obstacles they may encounter by receiving citizens, listening to their complaints, and directing and guiding them to the relevant entities concerned with their requests. This is achieved through receiving requests addressed to the Dean and presenting them to him to obtain his opinion, in addition to the direct supervision of organizing the Dean’s official meetings. The unit also enters citizens’ requests into its dedicated website to expedite responses, search for specific information, and inform the citizen of the procedures taken regarding their request or complaint via the phone number or email address provided in the application.
Objectives:
To serve as the College’s interface with regard to citizens affairs.
To provide the best possible services to all citizens.
To represent a civilized approach to addressing citizens’ issues within an institutional state framework.
Duties of the Unit:
Receiving requests addressed to the Dean.
Supervising the organization of meetings with the Dean according to specified schedules.
Communicating with citizens and following up on the procedures related to their requests and complaints.
Following up and corresponding with academic departments, divisions, and administrative units regarding the requests submitted to them.
Entering citizens requests electronically into the “Electronic Citizen Government” system through the electronic form available at the unit, whereby the system assigns a unique reference code to each request to enable follow-up.
