Vision , Message and Goals (VMG)
Vision:
Improving performance in various fields of mathematics to become one of the first educational departments in the country and the Arab world in academic achievement, as well as the need to keep up with the higher educational renaissance’s development by finding the best services and equipment for academic cadres of faculty members, providing training and development opportunities for technicians and administrators, and engaging students.
Message:
The purpose of the Department of Mathematics is to graduate trained cadres with scientific logical thinking and scientific research skills in the many fields of mathematics. The department also aims to produce national outputs that are backed up by research and knowledge and help to the growth of our beloved country. By delivering the most up-to-date scientific technology for educational services for university and higher-education students, as well as striving to develop skills that enable them to rapidly integrate into all sectors. By delivering the highest performance, speed, and accuracy of achievement, the department aims to increase the level of the educational and administrative process. It also promotes scientific research and knowledge exchange in order to keep up with world scientific and cultural progress and fulfill society’s changing requirements in order to accomplish comprehensive and long-term human development and enable national, regional, and international competition.
Goals:
1. To be in line with modern educational trends in the methods of teaching mathematics, which qualifies him to work efficiently in middle and middle schools.
2. To be able to employ what he has learned in various applied fields of mathematics.
3. To learn the mathematical method of thinking (analysis, deduction and causation) in a way that ensures the safety of its application in the teaching of mathematics.
4. That he be able to develop himself in the fields of scientific research and instill the scientific method in him, which makes him able to obtain a higher degree.
5. To know how to build, develop and update mathematics curricula.
6. To be able to encourage positive interaction of students, characterized by a spirit of harmony with his colleagues and school administration.
